Tanzanite Diamond
What is the symbol of gold, silver, platinum, tanzanite, Diamond?

I'm starting on learning and trade stocks. I have the CoolTick program to take a mark of displacement of populations to move across the top of the screen, but I want to add precious metals to my point of view too. Does anyone know what Yahoo! Finanace website uses to track precious metals: gold, silver, platinum and precious stones: diamonds, rubies, any help would Tanzanite much appreciated.

The following Internet links has several symbols that include: Gold is GC followed http://futuresource.quote.com/markets/market.jsp?id=metal with a capital letter for the month of futures and a number for the year. For example: Gold GCZ8 means December 2008. Silver is SI so following the same wording as above: SIZ8 mean Silver December 2008. PT is platinum. Just put the cursor on the symbol in the link above and appears to describe exactly what it means that any symbol. No tanzanite and diamond symbols, since they are constants that can be traded easily using contracts followed with a ticker. You must make another question about cut and rough gems to obtain the source on prices. You can only trade jewelry with cash buying as there is no way to speculate otherwise. Once purchased are not very liquid investment like the metals futures markets are.

I thought a tanzanite was a type of diamond?

but I read on wikipedia that isn't? and that its actually a very soft stone? I wanted a ring tanzenite of commitment … but is it too soft? Why was being touted as a diamond?

here's some information Tanzanite a website (FAQ's) What is tanzanite? A very basic question asked, but one well worth it. Definition: Tanzanite is the crystalline form of zoisite minerals. Considered a "rare" gemstone, the zoisite crystals form in the presence of vanadium, which is a soft, silvery-gray metal. Tanzanite is found in one place in the world, Tanzania, near Mt. Kilimanjaro. Tanzanite is often heat treated to remove impurities and produce the beautiful purple-blue known for tanzanite. The resulting color is permanent and is considered an acceptable treatment. How popular is tanzanite? Tanzanite was added to the list as one of the most selling colored gemstones of all time. The U.S. purchase approximately 70% of all tanzanite is mined. Because of its outrageous popularity, tanzanite was added to the birthstone list in December 2004. Due to the fact that tanzanite is approximately one quarter to one third the cost of a sapphire of the same color, it should continue popularity for many years to come. How difficult is tanzanite? Please see our discussion in depth on the hardness tanzanite here. Tanzanite has a Mohs hardness of 6.5 to 7.0 and is considered durable enough to be used in virtually any type of jewelry. As with all jewelry it is used, should be careful. Tanzanite will scratch more easily than sapphire or diamond and should not be exposed to checmicals hard and ultra-sonic cleaning. Tanzanite How much? The answer depends on the size and color depth. Commercial quality (low range) Tanzanites you can find very low cost approximately $ 100 to $ 200 per carat in size smaller (<1ct). In general, we find this type of material in jewelry stores in your local mall. The color of this grade of Tanzanite, ranging from puple blue sky and not considered very valuable (or even desirable), but for many consumers, just being able to own a Tanzanite of any color is considered a privilege. Rings made from this material in general, can be found for less than you might expect. But remember that color is the # 1 factor in determining the value and along with this price. The current price for Tanzanites bright colors in the range of 3 to 5 carats is about $ 550 to $ 700 per carat. Other factors that determine the value and price are cut, clarity, carat weight and recent news related to the offer. What does the supply of tanzanite look like in the future? Due to the fact that tanzanite is only found in a place in the world and is formed as a result of a rare phenomenon geolocial, most tanzanite is estimated that there are sufficient on the ground to last another 12 to 20 years. I love colored gemstones .. Tanzanite is a now I do not, but I'm planning on it …….. is a beautiful, beautiful color .. My original engagement ring my husband has a garnet and peridot (our Birthstones), but I recently got a 4-carat cushion Cut Square Brazilian natural quartz green (those created amethysts are subjected to heat and are called green or amethyst prasiolite) mounted in white gold and diamond accented by hand … he said that all girls need a brilliant solo. I love the soft minty green. Tanzanite want? GO FOR IT???? My wedding ring has fantasy Peridot …… and if white topaz wedding may be 'non-traditional', then why the h @ ll of the rings can not be so well …… and if you love and he, Hon, that's what matters … and thumbs down to all-NAY Sayers!
