The channel diamond band with a solitaire game?
My girlfriend gave me a round diamond band because it did not know the label on the ring. Now I do not know what kind of tone to achieve with it. Can I still get a 2-carat Solitaire ring with a round diamond channel band to go with a chain of diamond band. A jeweler told me that the solo should be a bigger carat size of the group to enable it to stand out. HELP!
Go in and try it. This will make all the difference. You just need to put up with the ring and play with. I wanted a solo in front of my husband and I went ring shopping. I planned everything to a min 1.5 ct princess cut cathedral in a white gold / platinum fixation. Totally looked horrible on my hand. In fact, everything just looked great way out of whack. So I ended up with a channel with 75 ct diamonds all around it and a set corresponding to the channel diamond band. It is not what I dreamed of … but on my side, it looked more amazing than anything. So lesson … you really play to see what works best on you!
